THE GRAND EUROPEAN 2026 IN NOORDWIJKERHOUT

The Cadillac Club Nederland will organize the Grand European in 2026 from August 24th – 30rd in Noordwijkerhout (located close to the Northsea between Den Haag and Amsterdam).

The original goal of the Grand Europeans was to organize a Cadillac meeting in Europe every two years. This was a sort of equivalent for the annual Grand National of the Cadillac LaSalle Club in the US.
In 2026, Cadillac Formula 1 Team will participate in the Formula 1 Grand Prix for the first time. This means that Cadillac will participate for the first and last time in the Formula 1 race, which will be held in Zandvoort from August 21st to 23rd, 2026.
This is an additional reason to organize the GE in the week following the Grand Prix.
At the GE2013 in The Netherlands, there were 120 teams with 230 participants from 18 countries, with 110 Cadillacs.

Participants can book a room at NH Hotel De Leeuwenhorst. with a parking deck for the Cadillacs.

All locations can be visited by the Cadillacs of the participants. Participants can also drive with Cadillacs from other participants and the members of the Cadillac Club Nederland. No buses will be used.
THE PROGRAMME
The Grand European 2026 program consists of 7 days.
Participants can book a room at NH Hotel Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout. ( www.nh-hotels.com/nl/hotel/nh-noordwijk-conference-centre-leeuwenhorst ). It is the same hotel as the GE2013, located close to the sea. Back then, 119 teams from 18 countries participated with 110 Cadillacs, totaling 240 people.
On Sunday, August 23, the Cadillac Formula 1 team will participate in the Grand Prix in Zandvoort, close to the NH hotel.
MONDAY AUGUST 24TH
Louwman’s Toyota World in Raamsdonksveer (www.louwmanstoyotaworld.nl)
Visit to Louwman’s Toyota World in Raamsdonksveer incl. lunch. Here you will find not only Toyotas but also various classic cars, including Jeeps, Dodges, Plymouths, and Imperials.
Boat tour on the Biesbosch
The Biesbosch National Park is a nature conservation area and the largest freshwater tidal zone in Europe. This means, for example, that you will find many streams and willow swamps there. With tall, luxuriant willow forests.
Wovu in Veghel (www.wovu.nl)

TUESDAY AUGUST 25TH

The museum originates from Henk Visscher's passion for classic and modern classic cars. At the age of forty, he began to appreciate their beauty and started collecting them. The collection numbers over 100 cars, including Citroën, Datsun S30, Matra, Opel, Panhard, Peugeot, Simca, and Chrysler-Simca.
Metropole Museum Druten (www.metropole.nl)
The unique collection of over 400 classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles belonging to entrepreneur Frans van Haren. The vintage vehicles, dating from various eras, are housed in a spacious, 30,000 m² hall of the Metropole complex. A beautiful ambiance in which the collection is shown to its best advantage.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 26TH
Hooper International (www.hooperinternational.com)
Toni Bienemann's collection includes more than 250 cars, including many Rolls-Royces and Bentleys.
The British coachbuilding company Hooper built many coaches for Rolls-Royce at a time when Rolls Royce did not build its own standard models. Toni Bienemann combined his hobby and his work. He bought the Hooper name and owns a museum, workshop, and various halls housing his collection.
Open Air Museum in Arnhem (www.openluchtmuseum.nl)
Get acquainted with stories, traditions, objects, plants, and people from then and now. See craftsmen at work, from miller or blacksmith to printer and train conductor. And learn their craft yourself during a workshop. This way, you become part of history yourself: you literally step right into it. During a visit to the Open Air Museum, you simply *must* take a ride on a historic tram.

This Porsche location houses new and classic Porsches, Beetles, and Audis, perhaps the nicest in the world.
THURSDAY AUGUST 27TH
Dutch Packard Collection in Bleiswijk (www.dutchpackardcollection.nl)
Nearly 35 Packards are on display here, including the Packard Excellence that owner Bert Roubos had developed. The Packard Twelve Prototype from 1999 is also located there.
Louwman Museum The Hague (www.louwmanmuseum.nl)
One of the largest and nicest car musea in the world.
Visit Amsterdam
Around 15:30 hr, it is possible to visit Amsterdam from the NH hotel in Noordwijkerhout by bus or Cadillac. The bus returns to NH around 21:00.
Ruud Gersons will give a presentation about the Dutch painters in the NH hotel on Wednesday in English.
FRIDAY AUGUST 28TH
Rotterdam is on the program for this day.
Pilgrim Fathers Church Delfshaven (www.pelgrimvaderskerk.nl)
It is located on the Aelbrechtskolk next to the Piet Heyns Bridge and owes its name to the Pilgrim Fathers, who began the crossing to America from Delfshaven in 1620. It is situated in Delfshaven, a historic part of Rotterdam.

This 228-meter-long steamship with oil-fired boilers and steam turbines served with the Holland-America Line from 1959. SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH
Healey Museum Vreeland (www.healeymuseum.nl)
The first and only Healey Museum in the world opened on November 24, 2012. In addition to many special Healeys and special models, the Healey Museum boasts a large collection of historical material from the glory years of Healey automobiles in racing and rallying, of which the Austin Healey is the most famous.

The collection now includes all model years, including almost every special edition produced for the public, such as anniversary editions, collector editions, ZR1 Corvettes, and all Pace Car Corvettes.
An additional hall was added last year. Downstairs in the new hall, there are mainly Camaros, Firebirds, and the special Corvettes. Upstairs are American classics, starting with a 1928 Chevrolet, with the newest one being from 1960. With the exception of a single Buick, two Cadillacs, and a Packard, there are all Chevrolets, because André is a true Chevrolet man.
Dinner and party at the NH Hotel Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout
Dinner begins at the NH Hotel around 6:30 PM. It will be a 3-course buffet dinner.
Following this, at 8:00 PM, the party begins with music from the Rock & Roll band the Roustabouts.

A space exhibition featuring historical highlights of space travel, a satellite square, a focus on the Ariane rocket, a replica ISS, a Soyuz simulator, and a life-size model of the moon landing.

In the evenings, presentations on various topics can be given.
As in 2013, Ruud Gersons is willing to give a presentation about the Dutch Painters in German and English on Tuesday and Wednesday.
This as a preparation for a possible visit to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on Thursday.
Presentations on restorations, the various Cadillac clubs, and the possibilities of technical modifications to Cadillacs, such as the use of disc brakes and other engines, can be interesting.

Room prices depend on the type of room, availability, day, whether payment is made in advance or at the hotel, and whether cancellation is possible.
The price for a double room, including tax and breakfast, is approximately €145,00 without the cancellation option, and €163 for a single room.
